Karlstad Congress Culture Centre, which opened in January 2011, is one of the largest and most modern convention centers in Scandinavia. Karlstad CCC has 18 meeting halls spread over 18 000 square meters and a total capacity of 4500 people. The largest hall holds 1604 people and in total there is 1800 square meters exhibition space.
Karlstad is centrally located in Scandinavia. Traveling distance with train to Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo is less than three hours. Karlstad Airport, which is less than 15 minutes from the city centre, offers direct flights to Stockholm, Oslo, Örebro, Copenhagen, Alicante, Girona (Barcelona) and Las Palmas.
