Gustaf Fröding (1860-1911) became one of Sweden’s most popular poets during his lifetime, living to the age of just 50. His poem “En morgondröm” attracted great attention when it was published. Around 200,000 mourners lined the streets of Stockholm to see Fröding’s funeral cortège.
