Lars Magnus Ericsson (1846-1926) was an inventor and entrepreneur. He is perhaps best known as the founder of the L M Ericsson Telephone Mfg. Co. Ltd. He began working as a navvy and miner at the age of just eleven. He studied and later went on to found what we know today as Telefon AB L.M. Ericsson.
